BENEFITS
All members have what is called a benefit Package. It is a total amount that is broke down to pay individual benefits for the members. This contribution is paid for the member by the contractor for hours works. So the benefits don’t come out of an individual weekly pay check.

Health and welfare Pay for a member's health insurance
1st Pension- Original retirement. Pays for a member to receive pension payments when retired.
Drug/Alcohol Program Pay for our Drug-Free Work Place Program.
Apprenticeship Pay for our JATC Program for training and advertising.
CIBD Pays for our contribution to the Construction Industry Development Board.
2nd Pension Supplemental Pension Plan (NRISPP)- Pay for a secondary retirement plan.
Research & Education Fund A contribution to our International Office
HEALTH & WELFARE
We have a hourly amount that an employer pays for a member that pay their insurance. Being part of the benefit package it doesn’t come out of your weekly check. You will have a set amount of hour you will have to hit every month that will pay for your insurance.
Benefit contribution rate--$9.50 per hour after the probationary period as of June 1, 2023
Insurance Premium as of October 1, 2023 - $1049.00 = 111 hrs per Month
Family Deductible - $800
Single Deductible - $400
Prescriptions: Once your deductible is met. Pay for it upfront and turn in the receipt to get reimbursed 80% of the cost. If the deductible isn’t met it will go towards your deductible.
Medical: Anthem covers our Medical- Pay 85% if in the network—Pay 80% if not in the network
Dental and Vision are covered By the Indiana State Council of Roofers
Dental: No deductible- Pay 75% of the bill up to $2000 (per person/per calendar year)
Optical: No deductible-Pay 75% of the bill up to $600 ( per person/per calendar year)
Life Insurance Policy: As long as your insurance is active you also have an insurance policy through the plan.
